The researchers at FireEye reports that they’ve found some Srizbi activity in one of their customers networks. They think that Srizbi might be trying to update its zombies with a new undetectable botnet, so now FireEye and the upstream service provider to the hosting centre with the CnC are cooperating to take it off the net. I really admire the work these guys do to keep these idiot botherders and their bots away from the net.
According to the Debian february newsletter Lenny seems to be ready for release on the 14th of February during the weekend. This means that it’s been frozen and will just accept critical bug fixes until then. The developers would like people to try out the daily builds of it and file any bugs that may occur. FYI, Lenny is the character from Toy Story that is a pair of binoculars with feet.
I converted one of my old chip modules to mp3 tonight, it’s called “Distant memories” and was made way back in 2000 for the Hugi discmag issue 20. When I did this song I remember that I wanted to catch the feeling of dreaming and remembering the good times from the demoscene. Enjoy!
