My girlfriends new site

I’ve been home sick for 3 days in a row now and laying in bed while recovering is really boring. So, today I helped my girlfriend setting up her new blog and I can tell you the design (which she did herself) is really cool. You can check out the result at http://www.babbelbubbel.se and if you are from sweden it’s even better because it’s in swedish…

Babyclothes

As me and my girlfriend is expecting a baby any time soon I just had to put my nerdy heritage on the little one. What’s a better way than introducing the baby directly to the wonderful world of linux and open source by buying some nice Ubuntu clothes from https://shop.canonical.com/.

I love Ubuntu Babygrows

Stargazer by Andromeda and Orb

While we’re at it I might aswell throw another excellent demo right your way. I stumbled across a demo by Andromeda and Orb called Stargazer, and holy shit is this awesome or what! Right when it starts you know that this is going to be something out of the ordinary with that “spacey” bass and futurish lightning effects on the text. I think I must place this demo in the top ten best productions I’ve ever seen! Grab the excellent music by Gloom here and the 720p video here.

Breakpoint 2008 invitation

Ok, so let’s get this party started. I was checking out youtube a couple of days ago for new demos and intros that had been released and I found an excellent party invitation for Breakpoint 2008 from Rebels called Digital Garden. What really got me hooked was the “dreamy” track made by Chromag, but I really enjoyed the code and presentation of the guest and the competitions aswell. It’s really amazing what they can squeeze in to demos these days.
