My name is Johan aka loxley and I’m 34 years old living in the south of Sweden at a place called Trelleborg. I’m currently employed as a Quality Engineer at a company called SoftScan that specializes in email and web security. The last year I’ve mostly been keeping our test system updated and writing programs for easy maintainance of our virtual servers. Before this job I’ve been in the ISP business busy with patching, routing and installing Ciscos. Inbetween these I also had a job as a Systems Administrator for a domain registrar. At the moment beeing I’m a truly happy person, having my hobby as my work.
I’ve always been intrested in technology and computers, ever since that day i got a C= 64 from my parents one christmas many years from now. At first I just used it for gaming, but then one time i got introduced to a demo by 1001 Crew(I think it was) and I thought it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen. So I hooked up with some local people at school, one programmer, one graphician and me the musician. We were never to be famous for our releases but there were more to it than fame, it was the creative part and all the fun people you met at copy parties. Later I switched to the Amiga 500 and joined a group called Equinox which I stayed in through the rest of my career as a scene musician. Glory days!
As of the 14th of February 2009 (Valentines day), I forked off (nerdy joke) and became a father when my son Hugo was born. He’s all I care about at the moment and I really don’t remember what I did earlier that was so important. You certainly get a whole new perspective on life when you become a parent. Right now I’m looking forward to the day when he can start wearing that nice Ubuntu t-shirt and babygrows I bought from the canonical shop. That’ll be cool!
