Personal Abilities:
Self going, thorough, structured and with great ability of initiative are regular sayings about me. Aswell as happy, positive and easy to work with. I think problems are made to be solved.
Professional Ambitions:
I’d like to continue to develop my skills in Linux/Unix, programming and server administration. It would have been nice to be able to work in a environment where this is possible, maybe as a technician at a company with the assignment of maintaining the servers and the underlaying infrastructure. In a long time perspective I could see myself in a manager position, having the technical knowledge to tie developers and technicians together and work as a bridge to the other departments.

When you study at a KY education, 1/3 of the education is based on internship, so called LIA, in english ”Learning by working”. During my education I’ve been at:
- Jan 06– May 06: Teknikmejeriet AB, Flädie. Network technician and responsible for maintenance of Linux servers.
- May 05–June 05: Mywork AB, Malmö. Configured and administrated firewalls, emailservers, DNS servers and webservers in Linux. Built and repaired computers for customers.
Positions:
- 09->>: Symantec, Copenhagen. Software Quality Analyst Engineer.
SoftScan was bought by Symantec and I held the same work position as I had earlier. - 08-09: SoftScan ApS, Copenhagen. Quality Engineer / Perl programmer.
In charge of the maintenance of our Linux based test systems and the testing of our products before we put them into production. I’m writing programs in Perl for automated tests of the functions in products. I’ve also written our archiving program which is used in production on SoftScans scanning towers and various monitoring modules for use with Nagios. - 07-08: Ascio Technologies Inc. / Group NBT plc., Copenhagen. Systems Administrator.
Ascio is one of the top leading domain name registrars and I maintained their Linux servers and network. I also planned and executed the migration of servers from their current hosting center to a new location. - 06-07: Teknikmejeriet AB, Flädie. Systems Administrator / Network technician.
Responsible for maintenance of Linux servers on a ISP level. Responsible for routing/peering to the Internet and our own core network. - 04-05: Detector AB, Malmö. Marketing researcher.
Marketing research by phone. Combined this job with studies. - 95-02: Miljögården HB, Svedala. Warehouse worker.
